The Silo, a magical space towering above the V&A Waterfront, is being built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex. Set above what will become the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, The Silo will have 2, triple aspect Royal Suites facing the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and the distant mountains. Transforming the elevator house and annex of silos, while carefully retaining the cultural significance and creating a building
that will be synonymous with the Cape Town skyline. Colourful & eclectic pieces juxtapose the modern, industrial architecture.
WHY WE LOVE IT: We’re very excited to see this hotel lit-up at night – with the innovative windows glowing like a lantern in the harbour – this is going to be a very iconic hotel, in our favourite V&A Waterfront.
