To stay in this winter wonderland – which gets reincarnated every year – is something out of the ordinary. Each suite is themed and created out of ice from the Torne River by artists commissioned from around the world.
WHY WE LOVE IT : As we love theatre and creativity this ticks our boxes: arriving on a husky sleigh, sleeping on reindeer skins in a suite made of ice, and the drama and creative mastery that surrounds you. There is also something captivating about the temporary nature of this hotel, as seasons change so the ice hotel disappears until recreated the following winter.
